Inspired by the flags that fly over the Sonoma City Hall, “Eight Flags Over California” tells stories of conquest, empire, rebellion, tragedy, adventure, and romance. It all really happened. At times, we become the characters and speak with their words. We sing songs. We tell jokes. We convey an awful lot of information that everyone should know. People who have lived in California all their lives come up and say I didn’t know that! The show runs about an hour. Spain. England. Russia. The Argentine flag.The Mexican monarchy.
